EMEA

The distributor landscape in the EMEA has changed dramatically over the last 10-15 years as larger brands have chosen to go direct in the region. Our team has experience in build distributor partners, working under the JV model with brands and also helping to transition distributor markets to owned subsidiaries. We have connections with a wide range of distributors across the EU, UK and Nordic territories as well as in key markets in the Middle East and Africa. These distributors range from experts in Sports and Outdoors to Fashion and Kids brands. Structurally we have a specific expertise in Northern Europe and Southern Europe, as well as a pan-regional eCommerce team. Having been a distributor in the UK ourselves we are well positioned to support and build distribution within the UK with an excellent network of Distributor relationships.

APAC

The vast APAC region requires very specific distributors for very specific markets. We have built up a core group of trusted and excellent distributors in Sports, Outdoor and Fashion channels in the key markets of Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Australasia, Philippines and SIngapore/Malaysia. We have also helped to build very successful eCommerce sites in these regions in partnership with distributors - providing transparency and full visibility of results to the brand at the same time. China remains an exception only in as much as there are many different ways to build the China market. We know both distributors and legal experts for the region that have previously enabled us to launch in this complex consumer territory

LATAM

LATAM is an emerging region with huge future consumer power. Local customs challenges can make it difficult to go direct as a brand, so the distributor model is still very popular. We work closely with a number of distributor partners, and find that with the proximity to the US the LATAM territory often adopts brands that have been successful in the US willingly and quickly! Compendium Group has a LATAM expert working within our team to help deliver a successful distribution plan to brands from this region

Canada

Often the first market that US-based brands (or brands who have had success in the US) decide to launch. Canada is a strong consumer market with geographic and logistics challenges that can be overcome with the right distributor partner. We have worked with a number of distributors and brands in Canada, and have also managed eCommerce directly for two brands that we work with. Culturally, seasonally and georgraphically diverse, Canada is always an interesting market to work with

Australasia

While relatively small, Australasia is often an important international market to work with. With similarities to the US that go beyond language, it is also a region that is relatively straightforward to translate a brand culture to. Of course, we have our own distribution company in Australasia that will often be a good option. However, it is occasionally appropriate for us to recommend a different distributor partner in this region. We believe in healthy competition and we know many of the distributor businesses in the region very well and have worked with them when our own business is perhaps not best suited to a particular brand
